Open House

OMG! Parents love the flipped classroom! I was so nervous that I was going to hear garbage like, "How can they be expected to keep up with this?" plus all the other fun common misconceptions about the flipped classroom.  Like these:

But that's not at all what happened at Open House!!! Before I even presented my spiel, I had parents saying, "I love the videos!" "It's so good for my daughter. That's just how she learns!" "I love what you're doing" et ainsi de suite. :)  I even had a parent with a kid in my flipped class and another in my advanced, traditional class asking, "So...are you flipping this one, too?" When I said no, the reaction was pretty much "that's a shame."

This is gonna work!!!  This is awesome!
